envirenmental survery‏

I think in this moment people care for the environment with some actions day by day. But there are many cases in which easy actions to do are not done. For example the water. I could see at the surveys how people care about water when they brush their teeth but they do not care about water when they are washing their hands or when taking a shower. Actually, water is not taken as sirious as it must, people care less about water than any other thing related to environment.
Also  I could see that people want to eat healty food always tinking  about their wellbeing and helt but in this moment in Manizales there is not many stores that sell organic food; some Organic food is more expensive than regular food. The green markets are not popular among people because there is not enough advertising to inform people about these places.Now a days people do activities in order to preserve the environment, at work, at home, at vacation but still there is a lot of work to do for example in Colombia it is not mandatory to recycle at home .This survey is important to know what people do for the environment  and  what actions to do to preserve it.I Think everywhere should have procedures to care for the environment ( school , companies, homes etc.)

1. Mi total estimated  car and taxi kilometers are 1.820 km this year.2. My total estimated air kilometers are 10.000 km this year.3. My total estimated  bus kilometers are 30 km this year.

My total estimated travel is 11.850 km per year.

 

When I was a child I liked nature. I spent much time enjoying simple things like playing with dirt, picking  flowers or making picnics with my dolls.

On weekends I traveled to my grandparent’s farm, the farm was a half hour from the city.  On this farm my cousins and I enjoyed nature and did many outside activities.

My uncle usually took us in the mornings to see milking the cows and to collect some eggs to eat for breakfast.

The farm was focused on coffee fruit crops but also there were other trees such as tangerines, bananas and oranges and some animals. One of the activities we were doing was walking around picking up some fruits that in the evening we ate.

We could see and learn a lot of the farm activities such as cultivating, caring and finally harvesting the food and to understand that all in life takes time and need care to see the results.

 

I liked these weekend trips a lot. I had the opportunity to enjoy nature to know the life in the farm and I had a good time beside my family.
